Truro

The city is well-known for its cathedral (completed in 1910), as well as its cobbled streets, open spaces and many examples of Georgian architecture. It is also the location of the Royal Cornwall Museum and Hall for Cornwall. The Hall for Cornwall hosts a variety of arts, comedy and music performances and has seen the likes of James Morrison, Derrin Brown and Jonny Carr perform there recently.

Over the past five years Truro College has excelled as one of the most recognised in the South West of England. Every term it appears as if a new building is being erected, each with a slick and eye catching modern day design. Truro recently merged with Penwith College, located in Penzance.
