San Pablo Release New Album - Farewell Gig Event

Tags: San Pablo

San Pablo are a 4 piece self branded ‘adventure pop’ band based in Cornwall but soon to be moving to London. The band who we've been supporting since they formed as this outfit in September 2008 after 3 of the band had previously been playing for educational purposes.

The lads practiced vigorously through the following months to get a set they were proud to perform live. During this time they received emails offering support slots with the likes of One night Only, The View, Twisted Wheel, General Fiasco, The Holloways and also got asked to play both days of the Relentless Boardmasters in Newquay in 2009 which the band were inevitably more than happy to fill.

This generated good reviews and articles on the band in the local press. After this the band carried on promoting themselves whilst playing select gigs around the area. With a strong set in their pocket, San Pablo are looking forward to playing shows when and wherever they venture.

'Hoist The Sails' is their latest release which you can purchase from The Zero Lounge, Penzance at their farewell party on Thursday September 16th

"San Pablo, quite possibly the most talked about local band since I Say Marvin began to grace the county's stages nearly three years ago. After a successful debut performance opening for indie darlings One Night Only a mere three weeks ago, San Pablo have already picked up a healthy reputation for their spiky indie 'adventure pop'. Hand chosen by The View to support them only goes to show that it's worth getting there early to check out our own home-grown future stars." - The Cornishman
