As part of their ongoing support of the Music Truro festival, the bands have been selected by the event’s media partners.
The West Briton’s What’s On editor, Lee Trewhela, www.cornwallscoolest.com editor, Ian Cragg, Radio Cornwall’s David White and Johno Chapple from mycornwall.tv, know everything there is to know about Cornwall burgeoning music scene.
Ian Cragg said: “These two gigs are a great addition to the Music Truro festival. Trying to narrow down the bands to six per night was a difficult task because there are so many amazing acts that we could have added to the bill.”
Cornwall Unsigned and Cream of Cornish are free events; the doors to The Office open each night at 8pm, with the music starting at 8.30pm.
Events and marketing manager for The Office, Adam Williams, said: "We are very pleased to be hosting Cornwall Unsigned and the Cream of Cornish nights on behalf of Music Truro this year.
“As avid supporters of local talent and live music at The Office and Zafiros, we are only too happy to provide the setting for this year’s event.”
Music Truro has an impressive line up of events including acoustic performances, a busking competition, poetry recitals and an outdoor screening of Sing-a-Long-a Sound of Music.
Galleries, restaurants, cafes, pubs and other venues across the city will be hosting events throughout the week.
The festival is expected to attract up to 15,000 people and is being co-ordinated by Totally Truro Business Improvement District (BID) and Event Cornwall.
