Kelly’s of Cornwall’s Success with Clean Cornwall Campaign
Tags: Clean Cornwall, Ice Cream, Kelly's CornwallOver the past year Kelly’s of Cornwall has been working with Clean Cornwall to actively reduce the amount of rubbish dumped in the Cornish countryside. This summer the Clean Cornwall Campaign is focusing all efforts on Cornish tourist hotspots - the areas most affected in the summer months.
Kelly’s of Cornwall will be issuing out over 5,000 recycled brown paper bags to Cornish residents and tourists in a bid to encourage the public to dispose of their rubbish responsibly.
Hotspots to be targeted include Lands End, Padstow and St. Ives. These popular locations are home to a number of Scooping Parlours stacked with Kelly’s of Cornwall ice cream. Kelly’s of Cornwall has recently introduced six new exciting flavours to its scooping parlous including Passion Fruit Cheesecake and Candyfloss. As with all Kelly’s of Cornwall Ice Cream, these new flavours are made with Cornish Dairy ingredients in Bodmin, Cornwall.
The Clean Cornwall Campaign aims to nurture and preserve Cornwall’s idyllic scenery, protecting its beautiful, natural state by clearing away unnecessary rubbish. Nina Lumsden, Kelly’s brand manager comments: “We are so proud of our involvement with Clean Cornwall. These bags are handy and versatile and with such a highly targeted campaign, we really hope to see lots of visitors being responsible for their rubbish. ”
