Greenbank Fal River Festival director, Toby Budd, said: “This always proves to be an incredibly popular event and the quay is packed every year.
“There will be some great entertainment with Jacka Jazz and Du Hag Owr, who are sure to keep the crowds entertained.
“What’s also great is that it will raise money for ShelterBox, which does an amazing job around the work in times of crisis.”
Refreshments will be provided by the team at St Mawes Hotel, who will be serving Skinners beer and a hog roast from the hotel’s patio.
The St Mawes Ferry Company is also offering a discounted return fare of £5 from Prince of Wales Pier in Falmouth from 3.15pm. All proceeds raised after this time will also go to ShelterBox.
ShelterBox UK General Manager, Tim Bunting said: “This is a fantastic way to support ShelterBox and have great day out in Cornwall. All money raised will go towards our ongoing work providing shelter and emergency survival equipment to families in disasters around the world.”
