Technology Fans Rush To Truro's Home Studio

Christmas shoppers will be in for a treat during Truro’s late night shopping with special events taking place at The Home Studio, in New Bridge Street, to showcase the latest iPhone, iPad and iTouch accessory, Redeye. 

The home technology experts’ showroom will be open until 9pm every Wednesday in the build up to Christmas and they will be hosting a number of events for late night shoppers.  People will be able to experience the very latest in home technology solutions as the team demonstrate their integrated movies and music systems in the showroom as well as having the chance to get their hands on the newly released Redeye.

The Home Studio has just taken delivery of the brand new Redeye, the latest gadget for iPhone, iTouch, and iPad lovers everywhere, making them the only stockists in the south west able to supply the product directly.   Redeye effectively turns the iPhone, iTouch, and iPad into a universal remote control for home audio and video.  

The concept of a universal remote control is that instead of using three controllers to turn on the TV, the Skybox and Amp, you use just one.   Through a simple connection to the internet, universal controllers download the codes used by standard remote controls and programme them into one remote control.   Redeye makes this possible for any iPhone, iPad or iTouch.

As the perfect stocking filler, staff at The Home Studio are expecting Redeye to appeal to people looking for a fun, quirky and useful present.

Managing Director, Claire Scholes said: “We are the only outlet in the south west for Redeye, so we want to let everyone know that they can come to the Home Studio during late night shopping to see the product in action. Priced at just £50 for the mini version, Redeye could be the perfect present for the family member who has everything. It’s a fun and practical present and I am sure it will be extremely popular this year.”

The Home Studio will be giving people the chance to try out the product in the showroom from Monday to Saturday and every night of late night shopping.  They will also be demonstrating their integrated home technology solutions and getting in the festive spirit with mince pies and refreshments during the evening. 

The Home Studio will also be running an in store competition to give away a Redeye on the last night of late night opening before Christmas.
