Cornish Restaurant Named 5th Best in UK

Tags: Nathan Outlaw, Rock, St Enodoc Hotel
Area:
Rock

Restaurant Nathan Outlaw in Rock has been named the 5th best restaurant in the UK in the Good Food Guide, compiled by consumer group 'Which?'

Two of those positioned above him in 1st and 2nd place were none other than Heston Blumenthal's 'Fat Duck' in Berkshire and Gordon Ramsey's restaurant in Central London.

Since his move from Fowey to Rock, Nathan has been busy establishing his signature restaurant within the St. Enodoc Hotel.

Nathan told us "I am extremely pleased and proud of the team. I wanted to raise the bar when opening at the St Enodoc Hotel, and I'm delighted it has been recognised so early on. We've got some fantastic produce right at our doorstep, without that, my food would not be the same. The exciting thing for me is I know I've got a great location and team, and we're still improving"

This smaller, more intimate venue sees Nathan personally cooking for each guest as he showcases the finest local and seasonal produce from small artisan producers.

The summer menu offers a choice of two tasting menus which focus on the fresh fish and seafood caught by local day-boats.  A vegetarian menu is also available.

Restaurant Nathan Outlaw is open for dinner Tuesday to Saturday from 7pm to  9pm.  Reservations can be made from 11am-7pm Tuesday until Saturday.
