A Bright Future At WorldWide

The walls of an award-winning independent financial advisers in Truro have become home to the work of an internationally acclaimed artist.

Worldwide Financial Planning is exhibiting nine pieces of work by abstract painter and printmaker, Chris Billington, at its offices in Lemon Street.

The move comes after Worldwide’s managing director, Peter McGahan, invited Chris to brighten up the company’s wall space.

“I’ve known Chris for quite a while through a family connection,” said Peter.

“I really like his work and his style and I had been thinking about putting some artwork in the office so it made sense to bring the two together.

“As well as add to our office and create something visually stimulating for the Worldwide team, Chris will also benefit from having his work on display in a space where lots of people visit.

“This is great as more people will then be able to enjoy his work as much as I do.”

One of the pieces of work on display, ‘Bright Future’, has been especially commissioned for Worldwide.

“I really like ‘Bright Future and I’m pleased that Chris has chosen our building to unveil it,” added Peter.

Chris, who has recently moved his studio from Falmouth to the Lizard, said: “I like to get my work out and into spaces other than galleries. It brings a whole new experience to the work, as well as open it up to a new and much wider audience.”
