Music Truro festival returns to the city this month, promising a packed and eclectic programme celebrating Cornwall’s most talented artists.

Organisers of Music Truro festival are calling for local musicians across all genres to be involved in the 2011 event programme.

The Office nightclub, Truro, opened its doors this week to showcase some of the best musical talent which Cornwall has to offer as part of Music Truro.

An impressive line up of events is being put together as part of Music Truro, which is expected to attract up to 15,000 people. Dozens of bars, restaurants, galleries and other venues have already signed up support the festivities taking place from Saturday, September 11 to Sunday, September 19.

The biggest names in Cornwall’s music scene are set to come together for two massive gigs showcasing their talent.

Music Truro is to host Cornwall Unsigned and Cream of Cornish as part of the week long Music Truro festival.

If you fancy being frightened by Scary Little Girls then this year’s  Music Truro festival is sure to satisfy your curiosity. Inspired by The Globe’s Shakespearian Sonnet Walks, the streets of the city are set to come alive with performance, poetry and song.
