It’s time to don the cycling shorts and pump up those tyres as ‘Bikin’ for Boobies’ is back!

The Olympic torch will pass St Michael's Mount, visit the Eden Project and cross the Tamar Bridge on its journey through Cornwall.

The torch will start at Land's End on 19 May and travel through the county before an overnight stop in Plymouth.

Nominations have opened for "inspirational people" to carry the Olympic torch through Cornwall on the first leg of its journey to London.

Newton Faulkner is playing a one off charity event at Lands End on the bank holiday weekend in aid of breast cancer. Coppafeel was set up to encourage young people to start checking their boobs. They are a young charity, making a lot of noise and currently have the support of celebrities such as Fearne Cotton and Dermot O' Leary.

Talks are expected to be held in August about whether flights from Cornwall to the Isles of Scilly could run from Land's End airport instead of Penzance.

British International Helicopters (BIH) has agreed to sell Penzance Heliport to Sainsbury's subject to the firm gaining planning consent to build a new store.
