Cornwall's Boex Design in Running for International Award
Tags: Boex Design, PorthlevenCornish design agency Boex has been shortlisted for a prestigious international industry award, it has been announced this week.
The annual, FX International Interior Design Awards acknowledge both UK and International design talent from all over the world in the field of interior projects and products. The awards, judged by an invited panel of distinguished industry experts, are due to be announced in late November.
The Porthleven based company has been shortlisted in the Public Sector category which recognises the best interior spaces in healthcare, education and transport.
The nominated project, a ‘sibling playroom’ at the newly built Neo-natal Intensive Care Unit at Royal United Hospital Bath was installed last May, providing a fun and exciting space for younger visitors to the hospital.
“We are really pleased with the project outcome and thrilled for it be recognised on an international level putting us alongside admirable industry professionals. I’m very proud of our teams work and to be shortlisted is a great achievement.” said Sam Boex, creative director.
Seven hundred entries were received in total, with seven in the Public Sector category shortlisted. The winners will be announced at the annual awards event 27th of November, until then Boex will be working on a number of other national healthcare projects.
