Beaches
During the main holiday season (July-August) many of Cornwall's most popular coastal areas reach capacity. Increasing pressures and diversity of recreational activities on the coast bring greater conflict between users and strains the visitor and natural infrastructure. The increasing popularity of watersports, particularly surfing, coupled with improved wetsuit technology and the regeneration of some coastal settlements has extended the use of beaches throughout the year.
