Get Cape.Wear Cape.Fly. are set to play Falmouth’s Princess Pavilion on Friday 8 October as part of an extensive UK tour in support of a new single and album. Support for the night has been announced indie rockers Tellison and Devon’s increasingly popular Josie & The Lovecats.

Tellison are a band based in Hammersmith West London. They met whilst interviewing for a job at a local pizzeria to be pizza chefs. There was one job going and four of them. None of them made the grade. Instead they formed a band.

Since Tellison have gone on to be a MySpace Recommended Artist twice. They've released three sold out 7" singles on Gravity DIP, New Slang and Banquet Records. They've been played on Radio 1, 6Music and Xfm (for whom they recorded a session) and radio stations all over the world.

The last single from their first record, 'Gallery', reached number 5 in the Indie Chart and the video received extensive play on MTV2 and Top Shop TV. 'Hospital' from the album featured in e4's 'Nearly Famous' teen drama while 'Gallery' and ‘Wasp's Nest’ featured in Seasons 1 and 2 of Channel 4 sitcom 'The Inbetweeners'. You’re going to love them. Opening the show will be Plymouths Josie & The Lovecats. Although only twelve months old they've been playing around the country to punters eager to lap up their original and infectious tunes and have been taking the festival circuit by storm with appearances at Glastonbury, Port Eliot, Boardmasters and Aeon. At the heart and helm of the Plymouth-based quartet is petite and passionate singer, songwriter and pianist Josie Ghost. Her songs come from the heart; some are exquisitely poignant, others defiant and angry, others observational, taking a snapshot of a moment and weaving it into a story and a sound entirely and uniquely her own.

Then of course we can’t forget that headliner Get Cape Wear Cape Fly is back with new material which can be witnessed with key track, the dance-floor masterpiece, ‘Collapsing Cities’ - a collaboration with Shy FX – which is a real change of direction and is available on their new label Cooking Vinyl. This new material has been extremely well received and the direction been coined ‘emotronica’ - be sure not to miss this evening of extremely gifted talent headlined by the incredible GCWCF on this rare trip to Cornwall.

Tickets for this event are £9.50 in advance and are available from www.seetickets.com  0871 2200260 and Princess Pavilion Box Office 01326 211222.
