Area:
St Agnes

Fan’s of Ben Howard may recall that Charlotte O’Connor opened for him in May at the sell out Acorn show in Penzance, where she charmed the audience with her beautifully crafted songs and wicked Northern sense of humour!  Well she is heading back to the South West between the 24 & 27th August to perform her own shows, as part of a national tour.

At  only  18, Charlotte has already laid the foundations of what will no doubt be a long and successful career in the music industry.  The beautiful, confident and often too modest singer songwriter from Blackburn has, since signing with The Mel Bush Organisation (Led Zeppelin, Queen, Sir Elton John, David Bowie, David Essex, Vanessa Mae ) in 2007, built a cult internet fan base of well over 400,000 already.  This attracted the brand ‘Quiksilver’,  whom  Charlotte now works closely with as an official ambassador.  In December 2008, Charlotte signed a worldwide record deal with Columbia Records, and is currently putting together her debut album.

Charlotte will be releasing her debut single ‘Headrush’ this Autumn.   Ahead of this, she will spend most of August travelling the UK in a VW campervan on a tour sponsored by Quiksilver, she will perform with her  two acoustic band members . She will be selling her debut EP entitled ‘The First 5’  at  her  shows, along with some self designed t-shirts and a limited edition necklace’s produced by Quiksilver. The tour will also be documented through weekly video’s uploaded to her sites, daily tweets, and regular blogs.
